Preview image on MAG 322

Dear Team,

Previously when I was choosing any channel from my portal, the picture of what was on appeared on a preview box on the right hand side before I press ok to go in full picture. Now, when I choose the channel, I can hear the sound of the channel but there is no picture in the preview box.

I have tried with changes like NAND1 and NAND2 but didn't helped.

Could you please help me?

Hi,

i've found a solution for preview image problem in mag 322, reverting firmware to old working version:

Download file 2.20.05-324 (December 27-2017) imageupdate from:

http://fw.tivi.bg/im/322/imageupdate

save it to a folder named "mag322" in your usb drive (fat)

put your usb drive in mag

Open Settings⇒ System settings ⇒ Software update.

In Software update window set Update method = USB

Select Verify (OK) to make sure that STB can detect imageupdate file.

If the file is detected and readable successfuly you'll see Software Update window

for more details follow the instructions in:

the response I have from infomir is : The IPTV provider is responsible for the appearance and functionality of its portal.

On this issue, you should contact your service IPTV provider and discuss it with him.

Not very helpful when my provider assures me that he has a 322 running perfectly!

With version 2.20.05-324 (December 27-2017) preview image works perfectly on MAG 322

Only downgrade is not the solution, I've found what needs to happen: change NAND1 to NAND2 and it works.

Why they do not know this at Infomir is a mystery to me or they do not know their products.

I have googled something and it is apparently a problem that has existed for some time and they do not offer a solution, SHAME!

When I have emailed them about the problem, they always point to the provider.

The provider says he can not do that and rightly so.

Hugo, I tried a hundred things to get the preview screen to work until I found your post. Thank you so much. It worked perfectly. As a result, I have turned automatic updates off. My only question now is, what do we lose not having the latest update? Infomir needs to correct this on future updates so we can keep our box up-to-date. But for now, this is great. Thanks again.

Does anybody have the files rootfs-2.20.05.tgz, uImage_mag324.clean and bootstrap for the release 2.20.05 (27 Dec 2017) in order to compile a custom image?

Maybe infomir can provide us these files???
