Mag 322 freezes

M also facing this issue, its such a pain to watch tv now.
Anyone was able to downgrade? Can anyone list the steps in detail for noob like me :-)

Wow. Mag boxes suck. The two firmware on Infomir's website causes stuttering of audio for some channels. 2.20.7-r3 worked really well. That is now unavailable and i am stuck using custom firmware. Is it so hard for Infomir to make at least 4-5 firmware releases available to allow us to choose the best working one? The two that are now available are no good.

I am having same problem, It is keep freezing after 5-10 minutes uses (Channel keep playing but unable to change channel or move back). I observed also box get quit hot from the bottom at center part only.One more thing i found in my box i tried to play video from already saved in USB and i could not see the video but the audio was good. I have tried to update firmware by using USB but still same any idea/help would be appreciated. Firm ware version: 2.20.09-r4. I read a lot of comment regarding downgrade firmware. But in my mag box does not show option to choose older version, possibly due to i bought recently and never ever installed any firmware before.

mariossoc I bought new and do not have older version available. Is there any other option available to downgrade firmware. I have exactly same problem and Infomir never listen

there is a update july 19th i tried it and no freeze yet only been on 1 hour
go to settings inner portal switch on auto update firmware i think and it should update then reboot
ill repost if it freezes today

Well it's not just the Mag322. I have a Mag324w2 with exactly the same problem. Everything works OK, open up the first channel and then when I change it, the box freezes and had to be unplugged and restarted. Sometimes I get away with 2 or 3 channel changes but eventually, the box freezes. This box was excellent when I first received it.

Hallo is there a solution for this because i bought a mag322 some weeks before and face the same problem (also the temperature seems slightly high). I have also a mag420 and it works good

Hi, was just going through this post & I am having the same issue with MAG 322 - firmware of Feb 2020. I am using IPTV.Shop URL & initially it was not loading without any firmware update. Once updates, its giving the same error.

Has somebody got the solution for it? Cannot find any old firmware to downgrade as well from their link.

When I spoke with someone in Infomir, they said it is the problem from IPTV provide & once he gave another trial link, same issue.
Plz advice.

Hi,
After digging through whole internet for the right firmware for the MAG322 that does not freeze and lock up is hard. I searched for it literally 3 months and I tested it for the last couple of days and it works fine for me.

(if it doesn't start downloading just copy the link into the incognito tab or into another browser)

save it to a folder named "mag322" in your usb drive (formatted fat)
put your usb drive in mag
Open Settings⇒ System settings ⇒ Software update.
In Software update window set Update method = USB
Select Verify (OK) to make sure that STB can detect imageupdate file.
If the file is detected and readable successfuly you'll see Software Update window

My MAG322 is freezing. When I restart it says loading portal but then it’s a blank black screen. The channels stop working and I can’t do anything about it.

hey do you have link to download the firmware.

since i updated my box is freezing basically useless. I think now they do this cheap moves on purpose to make you pay for a new box. I will never buy this brand again .
