I have been asking Infomir for just over a year to hurry up with the certification for Netflix on this device.
Realistically, to release a 'Google Certified' Android TV device without this certification from day one is quite a stupid business move.
So, now 9 months later... Still no Netflix available...
I have spoken to a development team at Netflix yesterday in detail about this issue and they have advised that Infomir have no responded with CE certifications to continue to allow Netflix to certify the device.
To cut a story short... Netflix will never be available on this device until Infomir certify an Android TV 9 edition of their firmware to release.
However, you CAN actually install an older version of Netflix which does work moderately well with the remote control and little mouse interaction is required.
Netflix version 4.16.1 is the best compatible version but it is not available in HD or 4K.
Furthermore, casting to the device works from Netflix via Chromecast built in but again doesn't support Full HD and 4K.
It's about time we see this device updated with Android9 and Netflix as they are still selling quite well.
Infomir...please sort it out. I speak for hundreds of users, my customers as well as yours!
