Hi, I bought a new 4K television so decided to upgrade my MAG322 to a MAG520w3 to take advantage of its 4K capability. I also have a subscription with an IPTV supplier.
I have noticed an audio problem. There is a bad crackling sound on low levels of volume. It is there on all TV channels and movies, which are a mix of 4K, 1080HD or 720. I replaced the box with my old MAG322 and the sound is perfectly clean on low volume settings on all TV channels and movies, so it is definitely a problem on the MAG520 and not with the IPTV supplier.
Is is likely that this is a hardware fault, or an audio setting somewhere? I have tried all audio settings I could find, changing from Stereo to Mono, PCM to Bitstream, all with no change to the bad crackling on sound.
Any advice?
