I am trying to integrate my MAG322 with a MythTV installation. MythTV sees the MAG322 output as a channel and I can schedule MythTV to record the stream. I am looking for a way to have a Linux box send a message to the MAG322 to select a specific channel in order to automate recording. Can a multicast message be used to accomplish this? If so what form would it take? If not are there other options?
