MAG250 vs VLC

When using MAG250 with IPTV service provider I am quite satisfied

But when using M3U list built by myself not so much:

comparing some channels I play with VLC run on iMAC middle 2007 (O.S. El Capitan) and MAG250 result is VLC plays fluidly and perfect audio while with MAG250 not.

I cannot believe that a so old general purpose computer is better than a machine, the MAG250, built exactly for IPTV.

Is there any tips for better viewing the stream?

Can you provide your m3u and specify issued channels?

Also provide us information from Bootloader (BIOS) menu:

- Device info

- Image info

- Loader info

I am having similar issues. The setup is, VLC input is a m3u file, then pass through (no trans-coding) to output transport stream over UDP multicast. The stream plays smoothly on PC but is heavily pixilated from the MAG250 stb. Even with ffmpeg. Can anyone outline the optimum VLC/ffmpeg multicast streaming parameters for no pixillation.
