I need your help.
I had problem about 2 weeks ago when my entire (all) internet stopped - no connections no ping. I try to reboot router and Cable modem = no luck.
LAN and LAN wifi was working no problem. But when you try to open website - it might take 10min.
Cale modem I had on BRIDGE, then after 2 hours of talking to ISP they Unbridge modem and internet came back.
I didnt understand whats going on. I also try to do ISP router to get my router IP PAssthrow - and again internet get blocked. I disable IP PASSTHROW - come back to alive.
I was freaking out and not able to uderstand whats going on.
Same shit happened yesterday. And than ISP technicians looked at every possible option for issue - and no problem
They changed to new modem as well. And so far was working no problem until TODAY ....
SO BIG THINK what I just found out.
My internet was blocked again - all lights shows - router has all external IP , DNS and everything else.
But this time I just unplug my MAG254 - and internet get back to alive.
I noticed that week ago as well... when mag 254 plugged in my modem LAN light was blinking very hard (but mag254 was off) - after i unplug it - LAN light blinks as normal and internet came back to alive.
I also checked my ISP and technicians for blocking IP addreses or ports or mac adrese - everything is open and no problem.
So what do you think might be an issue?
ISP - Shaw, Cisco modem 150Mb internet
Router - mikrotik, routerboard
